The phone is definitely faster than any other phone I have used previously, including previous iPhones. It has a faster processor and a greater amount of virtual memory than any of the previous versions and you can really see a difference. Unfortunately its ability to multitask makes it difficult to run everything at maximum efficiency.
The great looking screen, though top notch, is very small, and will break if not handled with care. While it won't get any small scratches in your pocket, dropping it from your hand screen down onto pavement will most likely break it.
On the plus side, the apps it has to offer are awesome, and I have had more fun with them than I have with my platform systems for years. As an example, Doodle Jump online. The things people make for apps are never ending. They have entertaining games, but they also have very useful apps. The biggest complaint about the iPhone 4 is the cell phone carrier. AT&T is not my favorite service provider, and people are never happy about dropped calls and poor service. If you know that AT&T is good in your city or town, then this should not be an issue for you, but definitely make sure you ask around to see if their service will work for you.
The new iPhone design is sleek and offers a lot of features that had been missing in previous versions of the iPhone People who are new to the iPhone won't notice, but anyone who has used previous versions of the iPhone will be very happy to see that many of their problems with what the iPhone lacked have been resolved. The new iOS 4 coupled with the new design has given an extremely needed update to the iPhone series, and has put it back on top. Any other smart phones will have to step up their game to challenge the iPhone 4.
